Description
Learn Duas, Manners, History, and the Beautiful Basics of Muslim Life
The Islamic Studies course is designed to nurture not only knowledge but character, manners, and the spiritual identity of a Muslim child or beginner student. While Quran recitation teaches us how to read the Book of Allah, Islamic Studies teaches us how to live by it — with kindness, gratitude, respect, and responsibility. This course focuses on shaping a strong Islamic foundation in a simple, friendly, age-appropriate way, so young learners can understand, remember, and apply what they learn in their daily lives.
The journey of Islamic learning begins with small but meaningful steps — short duas, everyday etiquettes, stories of Prophets, and lessons from the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Our teachers deliver each topic through conversation, visuals, storytelling, and practical examples, ensuring that learning feels natural and enjoyable. Children learn how to say salam respectfully, how to ask for help with gratitude, how to speak kindly to others, and how to make dua for parents — lessons that build beautiful character.
The Islamic Studies course includes:
- Daily duas for waking up, eating, drinking, sleeping, traveling
- Basic manners (Adab) with parents, relatives, teachers, and neighbors
- Simple Islamic beliefs (Iman, Angels, Books, Prophets, Qadr, Hereafter)
- Stories of Prophets and great Islamic personalities
- Short Surahs and their meanings
- Moral values such as honesty, patience, sharing, and helping others
Each lesson is designed to be child-friendly and easy to absorb. Instead of memorizing without understanding, students learn context — when to make a dua, why we show respect, and how good manners please Allah and bring peace to our homes. Story-based teaching captures attention and helps students relate lessons with real-life moments.
For older students or adults learning basics for the first time, the approach is respectful, conversational, and practical. We focus on building clarity — not overwhelming with difficult terminology or complex details — so learning remains beneficial and realistic for everyday life.
A major part of Islamic identity is love and admiration for Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). In this course, students learn:
- The kindness and forgiving nature of the Prophet
- His character as a family member, leader, and teacher
- Simple Sunnahs to follow in daily life
- Inspirational stories that strengthen iman
These stories and lessons help children build admiration naturally and inspire them to follow good habits with enthusiasm and pride.
Parents are updated regularly on their child’s progress, including:
- Duas learned with meaning
- Manners practiced
- Stories covered
- Areas of focus and encouragement
Our goal is not just to teach, but to help students live Islam beautifully — at home, in school, in the masjid, and wherever they go.
By the end of this course, students will:
- Know essential duas and everyday sunnahs
- Understand the importance of manners in Islam
- Build appreciation for Islamic history and values
- Strengthen their identity as confident young Muslims
- Develop behavior rooted in kindness, empathy, and respect
Islamic Studies is not only a subject — it is a way of life that strengthens families, builds strong character, and connects hearts to Allah. With love, patience, and guided teaching, Online Quran Portal welcomes learners to explore the beauty of Islam in a way that is easy to learn, joyful to practice, and inspiring to live every day.
